Optical Breadboards

Optical breadboards can be used to mount your microscope in a laboratory or factory setting, allowing for stability and ease of use. Usually made of stainless steel, they are ultra-light and employ countersunk, tapped holes in a thin top-skin of stainless steel. Top and bottom plates generally have a matte finish to lower reflectance and are ferromagnetic for mounting with magnetic bases. The tapped mounting holes allow for mounting of the most commonly used optical mounts. Individually sealed holes allow for easy clean up of spills. A range of mounting accessories are also available such as plates, screws and brackets.
