Thermal Gloves

Thermal gloves play an important role in protecting hands from cold and are necessary for workers who need to work in extreme cold conditions. There are various hazards associated with working in cold conditions and accordingly several types of thermal gloves are available for each cold climate. Thermal gloves are made up of advanced special synthetics and some gloves can resist cold up to -50 and may also be water resistant. EN 511 legislation is considered as the benchmark for measuring cold resistance of gloves. EN 511 considers three properties, namely convective cold, contact cold, and water resistance of a pair of gloves and assigns a number to gloves for their strength for all three types of resistance.
