Flame Retardant Shirts

Flame retardant shirts are a special purpose piece of workwear often worn by firefighters and other workers who need protection from fires and flames. Flame retardant must not be confused with Hi-Vis vests as unlike Hi-Vis clothing flame retardant shirts come in several colours and there is almost no difference in the outer appearance of a normal shirt and a flame retardant one. Flame retardant shirts are designed to be worn by people who are exposed to high temperatures or extreme heat at their workplaces as extremely high temperatures can make normal clothing burn in an instant.
