Non Safety Footwear

Non-safety footwear refers to any normal piece of footwear which is not designed to provide safety from falling objects or other health hazards present at workplaces. Most commonly used boots and footwear, especially the ones without metallic toe reinforcement fall in this category. Although, several work footwears provide protection from water, mud, puddle, fire, without a metallic reinforcement toe these don’t offer any protection from falling objects, impacts, compressions and there is a real risk of injury to the foot. Non-safety footwear is mostly used at indoor workplaces where there is no risk of injury to the foot and most dress shoes and other formal footwear fall in this category.
