Safety Rigger Boots

Rigger boots get their name from oil rigs as these were extensively used by workers working on oil rigs when oil in the North Sea was discovered in the 1970s. Rigger boots are normally tan coloured and go up to one-third of the length of leg and are nowadays worn by most works across industries. Due to cold working conditions in the North Sea, these boots were developed to fill the dual role of safety boot and thermal boot and as such have an internal fur lining which has become a hallmark of most safety rigger boots. Pull off loops at the top of rigger boots is also a distinguishing feature which separates these safety boots from others.
