Veterinary services is a field which deals with the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disease within animals. Veterinary services also provide emergency care response in case of animal ill health outside of practice hours, or with animals that cannot be transported, and oversee animal’s general health and wellbeing. The field if veterinary services has a wide scope, covering all animal species both wild and domestic. Veterinary services include consultations, dental procedures, orthopaedics, vaccinations, diagnostics, x-rays and surgical procedures. Veterinary services are offered by vets and veterinary nurses to a wide range of animals including domestic, wild and farm.
