To support our import services by air, ocean and rail, Alianza Global Logistics Services employ a dedicated team of trained customs specialists that are extensively trained to handle your clearance with direct links to HMRC’s CDS system to allow us to promptly clear your cargo at all major ports and airports and ensure a fast and efficient service.  If you only require customs clearance without shipment booking, we can still help you.

This complements our logistics services allowing prompt payment of duties and taxes on your behalf to obtain earliest release and delivery of your cargo. For export shipments from the UK, our global network of overseas offices and agents also allows us to provide local customs services to your overseas buyers, based on your requirements.

If you wish to proceed with the clearance of your goods into the UK, you should have the following items ready

• Commercial invoice (this should contain the value of your goods, as well as the HS codes and the quantity of your goods)
• Packing list (this should contain the weight and total dimensions of each and every individual item)
• Economic Operators Registration and Identification (EORI) number
• Transport bill

Depending on the mode of transport, the transport bill’s name will vary. Here are the transport bill’s names for each mode of transport

• Sea transport: Bill of Lading/Sea Waybill
• Air transport: Air Waybill
• Rail transport: CIM note/Rail consignment
• Road transport: CMR note/Road consignment
