Satellite Qualification and Vibration Testing
Communication and military satellites are hugely costly pieces of engineering equipment and must be robust enough to withstand huge forces during their launch, deployment, and long-term operational use. Such is their cost that they must be subjected to the most precise and careful testing and quality standards control possible before they can reach the qualification levels for use.

Transportation Vibration
Quality testing of packaging items is based on replicating the conditions which the packaging will face during transportation, such as vibration, impacts, and movement. All packaging materials must be tested to meet industry quality standards before they can be supplied to customers. The simulation of transportation vibration and stress conditions is achieved through a combination of vibration testing at high frequencies and drop testing.
Here at Data Physics we supply Electrodynamic Shakers and our SignalCalc Drop Test platform for quality verification of packing materials. Our Electrodynamic Shakers provide a much more cost-effective option compared to hydraulic shakers, whilst our drop test equipment will test a material's resistance to damage and collisions with other objects.
