  1. Closed Cell Neoprene

    Closed Cell Neoprene
Closed cell neoprene is a foamed rubber material which has a ‘closed’ cellular structure. This means the bonds between the internal ‘bubbles’ are solid. Also known as expanded rubber, closed cell neoprene cells hold gas and prevent liquids or moisture to pass through the cell barrier (assuming it has remained intact). Closed cell neoprene is produced from neoprene polymer. Most closed cell neoprene sponge rubbers meet all required commercial and regulatory standards. Sponge neoprene products meet flame ratings and are generally continuously serviceable between -40°F to 158°F and are able to withstand intermittent temperatures of up to 200°F. 2. Neoprene

    Neoprene
Neoprene rubber sheeting and rubbers have a good profile of strength and abrasion properties. Neoprene is also resistant to environmental and weathering, ageing, acids, ozone and animals as well as other chemicals and oils. Neoprene rubber sheets is not suitable for some applications such as in use with ketones aromatic hydrocarbons. Neoprene is also available in white, food quality neoprene. Neoprene is measured in commercial qualities and degrees of hardness. We can supply neoprene in a variety of sizes, cut from rolls as well as being a choice of sizes. We offer bespoke services to provide the size, shape and type of neoprene you need. Talk to Zouch Converters today for more information.
  3. Neoprene EPDM Sponge

    Neoprene EPDM Sponge
Neoprene EPDM sponge sheeting is a general purpose, ‘closed cell’, sponge sheeting. EPDM sponge sheeting has a good degree of flexibility as well as a good resistance to factors such as UV light and ozone. Neoprene EPDM sponges is available with self adhesive backing options and can be supplied with hot melt adhesive. Applications of Neoprene EPDM sponge sheeting includes; water, draught and dust sealing, thermal and sound insulation as well as vibrational and energy absorbance. We can provide closed cell neoprene sponge sheeting by the roll, coil or sheet. For more information on Neoprene EPDM sheet, talk to the experts at Zouch Converters today.
  4. Neoprene Sponge

    Neoprene Sponge
Neoprene sponge is a type of closed cell synthetic rubber which has similar properties to EPDM and other types of natural sponge rubbers in terms of its resilience and resistance to abrasive factors. Neoprene sponge is chemically inert and as such it is a well suited material for industrial applications. Neoprene sponge can be made into rubber gaskets to protect against moisture and particulates such as dust. Neoprene sponge has a good resistance to other factors such as oils but has a lower resistance to petroleum and other types of hydrocarbons. Whilst there are different grades of Neoprene sponges, it can withstand a temperature range between -40?C and as high as 110?C.
