Transportation Vibration

The simulation of transportation vibration and stress conditions is achieved through a combination of vibration testing at high frequencies and drop testing.
Here at Data Physics we supply Electrodynamic Shakers and our SignalCalc Drop Test platform for quality verification of packing materials. Our Electrodynamic Shakers provide a much more cost-effective option compared to hydraulic shakers, whilst our drop test equipment will test a material's resistance to damage and collisions with other objects.

Turbine Blade High Cycle Fatigue Testing
High Cycle Fatigue Testing is a key part of quality verification of aircraft engine turbine blades and the testing of turbine blades for use in power generation. Thorough research and development and exacting quality assessments are vital to avoid turbine blade failure during operational use. Here at Data Physics we provide a full range of equipment for fatigue testing. We offer shakers for excitation of the turbine blades and our SignalStar Vector with Sine Resonance Search and Dwell software for controlling levels of vibration.
Our systems also enable swept sine and resonance search measurements to be carried out. Our SignalStar Vibration Controller provides the capability to control the high resonances created by turbine blades and connect with analysis software.

Here at Data Physics we provide underwater acoustic testing turnkey systems for a wide range of applications in the fields of oceanographic research and commercial shipping as well as for use within the military. We offer our SignalSound Underwater Acoustic Systems for roles that include minesweeping, sonar calibration and training, and acoustic range calibration.
