  1. Sensitive Equipment Vibration Criteria Testing

    Sensitive Equipment Vibration Criteria Testing
Much structural and engineering equipment requires low levels of vibration for it to function at its peak levels. The performance and safety of items of precision equipment such as nanotechnology, optics, semiconductor manufacturing tools, and automotive and structural engineering products can be adversely affected by high levels of vibration, though many will be constantly subject to some vibration on account of vehicular traffic, wind, air pressure and noise.

Such sensitive equipment requires highly accurate vibration testing that utilises frequency spectra third octave band analysis of velocity data. Here at Data Physics we can provide signal analysers for precision vibration testing and the acquisition of highly accurate data, and shakers to specify levels of vibration during experiments.

For more information on our Vibration testing equipment for Sensitive Equipment, please contact us.
  2. Services

    Services
At Data Physics we understand how important it is to businesses and the manufacturing process that downtime is avoided and measuring equipment performs at a consistently high level. We offer support services and guidance to customers who use our range of measuring equipment and have support centres located across the world, in the UK, USA, China and India.

We also provide online support - new customers who have recently purchased a Data Physics product will receive a specific logon reference in their transaction receipt and will be able to access specialist support from our staff through the logon portal on our website.

For more information on our support services, please contact us.
  3. Servo Loop Response Testing

    Servo Loop Response Testing
A Servo Loop is a circuit that picks up negative performance and feedback in a mechanical process and then corrects and rectifies it. Such Servo Loops are used in mechanisms included in various products, ranging from aircraft and commercial vehicles, to electronic and telecommunications devices. Control systems designers must be able to trust the Servo Loops they install in products to provide accurate and precise feedback and control over the mechanism.

Here at Data Physics we provide high performance equipment for testing Servo Loops. The most effective testing method is through stepped sine analysis. Our SignalCalc Dynamic Signal Analysers have a stepped sine analysis application with coherence limiting, variable step speeds, and source levels.

For more information relating to our Servo Loop Testing equipment, please contact us.
  4. Shaker Testing

    Shaker Testing
Hydraulic and Electrodynamic shaker testing plays a vital role in quality verification and research and development for many companies across many industries. Shaker testing enables the structural integrity of products to be checked, and enables companies to assess their response to stress and fatigue. Electrodynamic shakers, in particular, provide much higher frequencies for testing than hydraulic shakers which is important for electronics companies.

Electrodynamic shakers also provide shock and shock response spectra (SPS) pulses for analysis. Here at Data Physics we can supply companies requiring shaker testing equipment with our SignalForce Shakers and Accessories for various types of testing, including environmental stress testing and earthquake testing.

For more details of our Shaker Testing equipment, please feel free to contact us.
  5. Shipboard Shock Testing

    Shipboard Shock Testing
Shipboard Shock Testing must be carried out on equipment and machinery to be used on ships. Items of shipboard equipment must reach strict quality regulations laid out by shipping authorities. Shock testing will check the items for robustness and ability to withstand high impacts and significant damage.

Here at Data Physics we provide high performance systems for the evaluation of shipboard shock. Our SignalCalc Drop Test system has a platform form the assessment of Shock Response Spectra which is the primary means of analysing and testing shipboard shock.

For more information relating to the Shipboard Shock Testing systems that we offer at Data Physics, please contact us.
  6. Shock Testing

    Shock Testing
Shock Testing is an important part of quality assessment and research and development for products in many industries. Analysing the response of the product to shock testing will ensure that the product will withstand the stresses and strains of constant use if it is to be installed within engineering works or machinery, or have the requisite durability and toughness to continue working despite knocks if is an electronic item such as a phone.

At Data Physics we can provide our SignalCalc Signal Analysers or dedicated SignalCalc Drop Test equipment for shock testing. Using our instruments enables companies to subject products to a diverse range of shock tests, from pneumatic shock testing to shipboard and pyro-shock analysis.
