Foam Die Cuts
Foam die cuts are used to create nonlinear foam profiles, shapes and gaskets as well as foam packaging parts which are economically converted using methods such as CNC hot wire cutting, die cutting and punching machines. Foam Discs
Foam discs can be precision engineered and cut to size, thickness and finished in a variety of ways. Foam discs and foam board discs can be cut and finished in a variety of colours and ways. It is a rigid and lightweight material which is incredibly versatile. Foam discs are an easy to work with, cost-effective product. Foamed Acrylic Tapes
Foamed acrylic tapes are made from a composition of acrylic copolymers and monomers which have glass microsphere fillers. This is then extruded and cured under UV light. Foamed acrylic tapes are naturally tacky and form excellent structural bonds when used on non porous materials. This can often replace the need for a mechanical or liquid fastener. Some grades of foamed acrylic tapes have an additional acrylic coating to enhance overall adhesion on low energy surfaces. They are useful in resin bonded laminated glass, sign manufacture, bar bonding, door panel manufacture and in the manufacture of cladding panels as well as in general metal fabrication. Foam Extrusions
Foam extrusions is a fabrication process which creates a cross-sectional foam shape. We force a molten thermoplastic through a die to produce long lengths, before cutting them to malleable sizes. As the foam cools down it creates an artificial exterior skin giving the foam an extra protective layer. The internal fine closed cell structure creates a waterproof barrier which has excellent cushioning properties. General properties include: being lightweight, having a closed cell structure, aesthetically pleasing, a high level of resistance to chemicals and a good level of compatibility with sealing materials.
