  1. Building and Construction Tapes

    Building and Construction Tapes
Zouch Converters provides a wide range of materials and component options for bonding, joining, sealing, protecting, insulating and for controlling complex noise, vibration, motion and mechanical shock.
  2. Building Sealants

    Building Sealants
Building sealants are used in applications such as pointing around window frames, brickwork and stone. They are highly resistant to UV light, ozone and general weathering. They provide a strong water and weatherproof barrier seal. Foam building sealants can be inserted into a joint to control sealant depth and create a backstop to allow proper depth of the building sealants. Applications for building sealants include; general purpose sealing, self-leveling sealants, sealing expansion joints and irregular joints, sealing metal and precast panels. Building sealants can also be used around the perimeter of window and door frames and in log structures. For more information about the different types of building sealants on the market and their specific benefits, talk to Zouch Converters today.
  3. Butyl Sealant

    Butyl Sealant
Butyl sealant is a type of traditional, permanently plastic sealant which is based on polybutene. It is used to provide a highly effective weatherproof seal. Butyl sealant can be used in a variety of interior and exterior applications. Once applied, the butyl sealant will form a skin within 24 hours. Underneath this it remains plastic. As such when applying outdoors you need to ensure the weather will be suitable for the next 24 hours whilst the sealant is drying and hardening. Butyl sealant does facilitate some joint movement (+/- 5%) and can be painted over once dried. It provides a good level of protection against UV light and is chemically resistant. 4. Butyl Tapes

    Butyl Tapes
Butyl tapes are a type of adhesive sealing tape which has a very wide range of applications, such as being used to form a moisture barrier. Butyl tapes are a high performance rubber-based product. They are solvent free and are a cross linked rubber extruded onto either a removable paper liner or strip. It bonds well with a variety of substrates and materials. Butyl tapes form a non-hardening elastic joint which is highly durable which is suitable for applications which will vibrate. It is useful for bonding in non-load bearing environments. Applications could include: - Bunching electrical cabling. - Joining the membrane in roofing and cladding. - Joining insulation sheets in a greenhouse. 5. Cable Trunking Foam Tape

    Cable Trunking Foam Tape
Cable trunking foam tape is a double sided polyethylene foam tape which is ideal for cable trunking, bonding hooks and signs and mirrors as well as nameplates as well as a range of trims. Cable trunking foam tape is suitable for bonding applications where you need a strong permanent bond. Cable trunking foam tape is a type of double sided, cross linked, closed cell white polyethylene foam with a pressure sensitive rubber adhesive. The adhesive is high tack and has an excellent shear performance. It is resistant to water and chemical agents though has limited resistance to UV light and temperature variations. Benefits of cable trunking foam tape includes: cross linking, high tack adhesion qualities, bespoke sizes and dimensions. 8. Ceiling Barrier Foam Tape

    Ceiling Barrier Foam Tape
PVC ceiling barrier foam tape is a closed cell foam decoupler. It is used in ceilings to reduce sound transmission, to contain intrusive noise and as a way to improve health and safety. Ceiling barrier foam tape also provides thermal insulation. It is a high density material which is a great way to reduce noise transmission through ceilings, walls, floors as well as with machinery and equipment as well as machinery enclosures. It can be applied on any solid surface or in places such as on a floor under the carpet for effective noise containment. 9. Cellular Rubber

    Cellular Rubber
Cellular rubber is an expanded black rubber sealant material with closed cells. It has a lower permanent deformation value than comparable alternative materials such as polyethylene foams. Cellular rubber comes in densities ranging from 90-450 kg/m³. Depending on the type of cellular rubber you want, it is available in blocks of up to 60mm thickness and is available in adhesive rolls. The properties of cellular rubber include: - Limited water absorption. - Resistance to environmental factors, such as the weather. - Resistance to oil is available in nitrile rubber with chloroprene. - High shear/ tear strength. - Suitable for self-adhesives For more information on the uses and properties of cellular rubber, contact Zouch Converters today!
  10. Cellular Sponge

    Cellular Sponge
Cellular rubber, technically known as closed cell sponger rubber is a type of expandable rubber. The individual cells within the sponge rubber are like a balloon. They are able to hold gas or moisture. Common products and applications for cellular sponges include sponge dust gasketing, rubber gaskets, rubber sheeting & sponge rubber sheet materials, rubber sponge products, closed cell sponge rolls, ‘open cell’ rubber as well as die cut sponge rubber parts. Cellular sponge comes in closed and open cell versions In open cells, the gas pockets are connected, where as in closed cells gas/ moisture pockets are closed from each other. Closed cells won’t soak up water or other moisture. For further information on cellular sponges, contact Zouch Converters today.
